How to prepare it

  1. Heat the olive oil in a small pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until soft and translucent, but not browned, for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add the peas and water, cover, and bring to a boil. Allow to cook for 5 minutes and then drain the peas and onions.
  4. Put the drained peas and onion in a food processor and add the remaining ingredients.
  5. Mix everything to form a rough paste. Serve chilled.
