Give more, take less

Hutten wants to contribute to the happiness of teamworkers, clients, guests, suppliers and society. Happiness for society means using the Earth’s natural resources responsibly, being inclusive, keeping animal welfare in mind, combating waste and engaging in transparent entrepreneurship. We know what we need to do. That is why we strive to control our own supply chain and work towards a food system that is in balance with the capacity of our environment and the planet. We are focused on three areas of interest: becoming climate-positive, social equality, and healthy nutrition.

Ketenverantwoordelijkheid

Hutten wil transparantie en verantwoording bevorderen in elke fase van het productie- en distributieproces van onze eigen activiteiten en die van de partners waar we mee samenwerken. Het voorkomen of aanpakken van misstanden op het gebied van arbeidsomstandigheden, mensenrechten en milieu is hierbij cruciaal. Daarom kiezen we onze boeren en leveranciers zorgvuldig, produceren we (bijna) alles zelf, slaan we het zelf op en brengen het zelf rond. Binnen ons bedrijf en binnen onze ketens ondernemen wij vanuit dezelfde visie, pakken we onze verantwoordelijkheid en gaan we voor transparantie en een eerlijke prijs voor de mensen die er werken.

Climate positive

Our planet is faced with an enormous challenge: providing enough healthy food for everyone, both now and in the future. The emission levels of CO2 and other greenhouse gases must decrease. We are fully committed to reducing our CO2 emissions. We want to achieve net zero emissions by 2030 for both our products and third-party services and contributions. That is when we will become climate positive.  

Social equality

Everyone’s talent matters and should be developed to the fullest, and we like to help others on their way to happiness. We strive for social equality by being inclusive and diverse. Everyone feels safe in an inclusive organisation. People can be themselves and everyone is equal.

We strive to meet and, wherever we can, surpass your expectations to create value for everyone: our customers, our suppliers, and society.
